Birth into Being Apprentice Training

Apprenticeship Training (10 days) $1500per person ($100 discount for a couple, plus an additional $100 discount for early registration two months prior to the event)The emphasis of this training entails a profound personalalignment with the Birthing Field, and learning the skills of navigating one’s energy within the intensity of situation,whatever the source of intensity is (including giving birth to a child or witnessing one). Also I will teach my techniques and certify the attendants as "Birth Into Being" birthshopfacilitators at the end of the 10 day intensive. We now have 64 BIB facilitators in 14 countries. (see directory of apprentices on birthintobeing.com) One of the main points of my approach is that birth cannot be taken out of the context of life, as it reflects everything and multiplies it hundredfold - especially the stress level of everyone present in the birthing field - all their past unresolved relations and anxieties. The good news is that it’s possible to neutralize the damage, to find the switch, and turn on a powerful, healing flow of Life Force, creating a new riverbed for it. The shift can be very fast and easy. It's like having an old,infected splinter in one's foot that has been there for so longthat nervous system has grown accustomed to it, learned tocope with it, and the walking pattern reflects favoring of thehurt foot. There is a choice in dealing with it. Either one goes to a professional to talk about it; applies medication, etc... or one can simply remove it, so the healing can rapidly happen. The pain that most of us carry deep inside from our formative period is like that old splinter; - it's a tiny bundle of highly compressed energy, frozen in the very core of our being, like a needle stuck in the heart, preventing us from being who we truly are. Yet it can actually be removed in minutes. All it takes is recovering of our attention about what we are truly capable of. So, in the first 4 days of the Training, the participants will havea chance to experience this work on the receiving side - what it feels like to go through all the processes and exercises as if taking Levels 1 & 2 of the Birthshop. Then, for the next 6 days, we will learn the techniques: how to facilitate this kind of experience for others. In my trainings, learning what to do is secondary to learning how to do it, and to who you are as a person (not only in regards to the Birth, but to all things in life -Living!) The certificate will state that after completion of the Apprenticeship, the bearer is qualified to conduct 'Birth Into Being' workshops, of his or her own design - which utilizes the new awareness and skills, yet allows room to bring forth the individual's specific strengths and preferences. It is not 'one size fits all' approach; it is more of a courage and freedom to be creative and spontaneous. Working with the Birthing Fielddoes not require a rigid structure, it is the quality of presence that we need to learn.
